BA will let you change your origin and/or destination to an alternative airport within 300 miles, provided the alternative flights are within the rebooking guidelines (see Option 7 - change of gateway). VNO-RIX is only 166mi and the alternative flights are BA codeshares, so this shouldn't be an issue.
