Also getting the same error for a flight to MIA. I have a valid passport, ESTA and Global Entry (all used multiple times previously) so I suspect it is the one way ticket (I am transiting onwards to Medellin on a separate AA booking a few hours after arriving in MIA).

I will arrive a little earlier than usual at T5 tomorrow and report back on resolution.
