They aren't. I have two AF F trips ZRH-CDG-SIN in March and May this year and they cost me less than CHF5000 each. ZRH-CDG-JNB on Dec 2023 was CHF3990. The only one that seems regularly quite pricey is NY, when I wouldn't pay those prices.
