This is for future bookings (3 months) and also last minute bookings (next day). I have never considered from cheap, at least not with respect to NK, F9 or G4.
Southwest fares have crept up over time. If you have luggage, then the other LCC costs will add up compared to included luggage with Southwest fares.
If you are traveling without luggage, Frontier and Spirit are better financial options. With luggage, YMMV between them.
