Impossible layover after schedule change on partner codeshare
I have Air France operated flights from JFK to MXP in business connecting in CDG next year. The tickets were booked via Etihad Guest award.
The JFK-CDG flight arrives at 13:00, and the original departure time for the CDG-MXP flight was 15:20. About a month ago, there was a schedule change for the CDG-MXP flight, departing at 12:30--an impossible layover. There are multiple later flights between CDG and MXP on AF that day.
Calling Air France, there's nothing they can do because the booking was made via a partner. Calling Etihad, there's nothing they can do because those later AF flights are not available to Etihad to book for my fare (there is business availability on a later AF flight available on the Etihad Guest website, however). The Etihad agents are only able to email some backend department (seemingly without response).
What are my options, besides canceling or just keeping the invalid itinerary as-is? Is this just a downside of partner bookings and I'm SOL?
