Following up on this from my earlier comment:
I checked in this afternoon for an international itinerary and got the “Docs OK” banner on my BP. I’ve never scanned my passport at a self service kiosk, but did scan via my phone a year or two ago and it must’ve been verified at that time. This was despite the constant orange prompts telling me I needed to complete Fly Ready ever since the reservation was made. It did show as verified in my profile.
Probably unrelated, but worth a mention: I was never able to checkin via the app today nor has it shown BPs for this trip. (Just displays an error or loops back to the flight search page when clicking the BP link). I half expected this as it’s an international itinerary that has been incorrectly displaying as a “multi city” in the app for months now due to a long layover on the outbound. I was able to use the full website on my laptop to successfully check in for all outbound segments and printed paper BPs (haven’t done that in years!). Will still get airline printed BPs at bag drop tomorrow. I did finally get a work around to getting BPs on my phone by visiting the full (non mobile) delta.com on my phone’s web browser and continuing through the prompts until the add to wallet option appeared. Then had to have my husband repeat the process on his phone for his BPs. All in all a good 30 minutes of DL IT fun…
