Applied for the AA card. Called reconsideration. Was told I was approved but security needs me submit docs via mail. I didn't have to in the past just simple questions over the phone but they needed:
Social security card or tax return
Utility bill
License.

Another issuer with less assets than Barclays requested identity verification documents but provided the option to submit the documents online. My application was approved in less than one hour after submitting the documents online. Strange that Barclays doesn’t provide the online option since the copies mailed will eventually be scanned into their system.
