P2 applied for the Hawaiian Personal card last month. She has no active cards with Barclays but has had several in the past. She got the verification letter.

All of her information was the same as the last time she applied except email address. Weird if that's enough to trigger it.

I'm not sure if we're going to follow through with it. I'm not in love with faxing perfect documentation for identity theft to a random Barclays number.

The verification rep was insistent that this was the only way. In fact, he wasn't sure fax would work, since it's supposed to be only for existing cardholders. He advised me to mail all the documentation in.

Ugh.
