If your flight from EWR arrives in B all you need to do is to follow the signs up to the Maple Leaf Lounge. No need for security. In order to go to Z without going through security you will have to follow the signs for A/Z gates, go down to the basement for a B>Z transfer bus, which only runs until 2pm but this should not be a problem if you are catching a HND flight. The Skyline train is not in the secure area.
