Since you were already airside, couldn't you just go to the gate of your new flight and ask the GA there to to generate your BP?
Did you try the phone or chat agents to fix it? That's the first thing I would do before even seeking out an A16 help area situation, even on a quiet day for IRROPS.
I originally asked a red coat in TPA for the boarding pass and they told me to ask in Atlanta. I had originally called Delta and kept saying Agent but all I got was a prompt to text me a link to the website. I had tried with the chat agent in the app/text before departing and they said they'd fixed it. It wasn't. Then we took off... and on board the 757 the wifi (as well as IFE planewide and the seat power in my row in First) wasn't functioning so no luck. I figured when I came off the plane in ATL directly across from a line of agents doing nothing that was an easier solution than going to the gate - the last time I went to a gate agent in ATL to ask to be checked in (after a rebooking) they told me to go to the service desk.
