Almost simultaneously my phone pinged and the Amex App stated I had a £193 deduction made by British Airways. So a payment has been taken.....but I have no confirmation or PNR for the flight.

What would be the best course of action now? Call them.....or re-book again straight away to secure the flights at the same price?
Husband had this exact a similar issue trying to make a booking yesterday, twice failed with this error message on the website. He gave up and booked successfully on the app.

Lo and behold, afterwards there were two bookings in his account. He logged on to the app again and cancelled the spare one for a full refund, well within the 24h cutoff period - which was a good job as the tickets were for JFK in club, so not cheap. If it's not too late I'd suggest doing this, the process in the app was pretty quick.

Handily the second booking was £200 cheaper than the first, for the same flight in the same class :shrug:
