I’m not in the group of passengers that would ever spend £8K on a CW or F return LHR to JFK but if I were then the trinkets coming from BA with GGL would not sway me to become so. Now, this is probably more for the GGL thread but if they were to offer solid tangiable benefits for that status like limo transfers to, from or within the airport or a more personal service on the ground, then maybe. Frankly though, the current BA product in the air as well as on the ground is simply not compatible to that level of fare and that is why I firmly believe this will affect the BA bottom line in a very negative way.
