I can't seem to quite get my head around the most efficient way to handle passport info for international flights on Delta. I had been under the impression that if I scanned my physical passport at an airport kiosk, then the passport info would be permanently saved in the DL system. I did that, but for each of my international flights, the webpage says that I have to enter my passport info. I tried scanning my passport into the DL app, but each time I go to check in for a flight, it says that my passport is not verified.

Do any of you folks have suggestions about the most efficient way to get things set up in the DL system? I've got a number of intl flights coming up and would love to find a good way to reduce the messages I get every time I check my itineraries.
