I got quite interested but then you just start thinking about the really good expensive F, the Residence, La Premiere and so on and you just remember brunchgate and BAs abysmal reliability. Why not do those instead? That will occur to a lot of people I suspect.
I’m not ruling out going for it, but there had better be some improvements. I have months to decide too as all I need is expensive tickets towards the end of qualifying.
This is also the problem with the way BA has acted. It's really difficult to trust them. Are you able to trust that they won't somehow overhaul the benefits/move the goalposts in the run up to 2026/7 in a way that ends up disadvantaging you ('CCR access was never a contractual benefit' or something similar).
