So depending on when your TP's were earned in 2024, you may already have requalified and retained Gold April 2025-March 2026. However the two LH CW flights prior to March 31st this year (2025) should contribute to your renewal status under the old scheme, and thus increase your chances of retaining Gold, and then [hopefully] soft land to Silver in April 2026.

I am in a similar situation, but for a Dec8 2024 year end.
I'm at 1440 points today. I'm thinking of taking a quick CE RT to MAN next week to get past 1500 before Feb 8

Many of the TP that took me to 1440 were earned between Feb 8 and March 31,2024, and the 2 LH I have planned between Feb 8 and March 31, 2025 will earn fewer TP than I made last year between the same period. If they discount the TP I earned between Feb 8 and March 31, 2024, I won't have enough to make gold.

Does that mean I won't get gold until March 31, 2026?

The BA website does say, on my account page, that I need 60 points to make Gold and that my year ends Feb 8 and card expires March 31
