Thanks everybody for the recommendations. I bought the regular ticket. However a thought crossed my mind. If the trip is delayed by more than 3 hours then I want to be able to cancel the entire trip and get a refund for the flight and hotel- it won’t be worth it for me to go from a timing perspective.

i know I can buy travel insurance. But would it have been better to have a BE ticket in that case? Since in a regular economy ticket, a cancellation results in credits, does travel insurance stil cover that in case I actually want my money back?
