On my ATL to OGG I went ahead and paid 1k for D1 on the 1 leg when they offered it. Two of my connects I got first with regional certs. Was thinking about changing my dates/flights and called the platinum line and I asked her and she said it wasn't possible to change I would lose my seat upgrade purchase that was $1k. Maybe I wasn't clear to her but I can change by cancelling and booking a new flight and not use the "change flight". So on a paid upgrade if you cancel the trip do you get it back as an e-credit or just the original ticket price and upgrade $$$ is gone? Thanks
