Wondering about Book the Cook and if anything is customizable, or if FAs would take something off the plate if you request it before serving.
Example: We are vegetarian, I see a buttermilk pancake dish ex-SIN that comes with an egg and chicken sausage. Would get it for the kid, for sure, but only if they could remove the sausage from the plate at some point before serving. Is this possible?
We love flying SQ and have had very good experiences, and I get that Singapore (city) uses a lot of meat, but always disappointed in the lack of veg. options onboard, especially as a default option (with the exception of to/from India), especially given it should be pretty simple to add a specific option or two on book the cook (I know they have the standard 'generic' veg options, but so do all carriers).
