There is also a state departure tax in Quintana Roo (home to Cancun & Cozumel) called the Visitax and it's $224 Mexican pesos.
I don't think the airlines collect this and it should be paid in advance at https://www.visitax.gob.mx/sitio/.
Lots of online discussion out there about some airlines at Cancun airport asking to see proof you paid it and many that aren't.
The last time I went to CUN I paid the tax and printed the receipt and then no one anywhere asked for the proof.
