Just wrapped up a stay at Ambiente. We did 3 nights in the Landscape Room.

Room: The room is great. I was very impressed with the soundproofing. The property is right next to a highway, so I expected some noise, but I heard absolutely nothing. The biggest selling point of the room is the huge glass windows, but if you're staying in any room type besides Landscape, know that people will be able to see directly into your bedroom. This is especially bad for the rooms in the middle that face the pool and restaurant area.

View: Even if you book the top-tier Landscape room type, trees will block most of the view of the red rock formations from the bedroom. I'd assume that Room #7 is the best room on the property, as that is the one they feature on their website in the 3D view. We stayed in Room #8 right next door, and our view was much more obstructed. We did walk around the resort a bit and it seems that #7 is likely a rare exception, as most rooms are blocked by trees (the plus side of this, of course, is privacy).
The view from the rooftop is absolutely fantastic from the Landscape room type. I think the view would still be nice from other room types since the property is surrounded by red rock formations. The difference with the Landscape rooms is you don't have to also look at somebody else's rooftop.

Food: There is only one proper restaurant on site. The food is decent, but they had the same menu the 3 nights that we were there. It became tiring to eat there for both breakfast (included) and dinner. They provide complimentary car services to town, if you want to try something else. I believe there was also some kind of food cart/truck open for lunch by the pool, but we didn't try it.

Activities: They said they have yoga and some other activities in the spring, but everything was halted during the winter. They don't have a gym on-site, but guests can access a gym in town. There's a trailhead right next to the resort lobby.

Service: Service is great (for a US property). They're very quick to respond to any request.

Overall a good experience and I'd return.
