Nah, I personally think they won’t make as much revenue after these changes. Their revenue will drop by 10-30% from air ticket sales. Like you said, people spending a lot have no incentive to spend more than they already do and people not spending a lot will no longer chase status so they will be spending less.

However, their lounges will be 50-80% less occupied. Aside from some direct cost savings, it will improve the quality of that product for their customers to book premium seats.
