Here’s another report that something has changed.
A few days ago I accidentally cancelled a tkt that was changed a few times from an FFC that expired last August.
It was a refundable tkt I had paid $12 over.

As soon as I got the email saying it was sent to the refund department (instead of the usual FFC) I realized my mistake and figured I was out 250 bucks.

Just now got the refund of $12 and a FFC for the remaining 250 expiring 12/18/25. (That was the date I made the change).
And yes - it worked. I booked something immediately.
