Lol after asking the above got an unexpected Polaris upgrade. Available options are 1D, 2L, 5F, 8F and 11D. Consensus of the thread seems to be that odd rows are always better than even, that 1D may suffer from noise issues, and that mini-cabin is loosely preferable to front cabin, so should pick 11D. Have I got that right?
For me, it is really uncomfortable to have the divider up in the odd-row middle seats. It feels like I am sitting shoved up against a wall. So if I am traveling alone, I will take any window seat as first, then an even-row middle, and only last an odd-row middle.
