Question/Issue
P2 used his personal platinum to purchase 2x $100 travel bank to be deposited into my travel bank ("as a gift for someone else"). His credits have not posted, despite the purchase being done on the same day as the above two. Of note, his transaction does not show "Special Service Ticket" - it instead shows "Gift Certificate." The meter also hasn't moved. I'm fairly confident this was the process we used last year and he was reimbursed as expected. Has anyone observed their transaction showing as a "Gift Certificate" but still received a credit from Amex? If I am not credited for this, can I use his personal platinum on my United account and try again, or should we just have two separate travel banks?
