I have had mixed success here with CSUs in the past, but got it on this occasion.

In fairness, the Junior Suite is not a massive step up from the nicer type of standard room.
Are Junior Suites available to book for cash for your dates?

In case they have annoyed you sufficiently, I have always found the Radisson Blu Golden Sands quite nice.
I see a King Bed Suite that is available for booking. One level above Premium Rooms or Classic Rooms with Club Access.

The Hilton would be my alternative. Nice Executive Seaview Room for the same price as I would have paid at the IC. (and there I should get an upgrade as well as Hilton Gold)
