Just did a round trip IAH-SYD in E+ on the 789. Just wanted to comment that as a 6’ 3” male I really appreciated the bulkhead 30J (which I had on the outbound). Normally I find the bulkhead hard for my feet since can’t stretch out, but the bulkhead gap is larger and the way the barrier is set up it’s narrower, so ever so slightly angling your legs into the aisle gives almost unlimited legroom. (The bulkhead space for DEF is slightly larger, but I think you don’t get quite the same benefit of the less wide wall letting you stretch your legs without as much angling out).
On the return we had regular E+ (row 33), and I would definitely take the bulkhead every time. Given the way people congregate in front of the exit row seats I think I might choose the bulkhead over those also.
