As an ex BA Gold and AF Platinum (used to have both before covid), the BA network has shrunk so much that it is no longer suitable for my business trips. AF/KL coverage across all continents beats BA/IB hands down. With business slowing down after Covid, I couldn’t maintain both statuses and found myself using AF/KL almost exclusively as they can take me almost anywhere in the world without needing to stop in the ME (and cut long journeys into 2 which is extremely tiring).

and with BA nuking its Exec Club, I don’t see myself flying BA anymore (no network, no benefits, no rewards).
