As mentioned before, the free public version of Timatic lacks the detail found on the paid version airlines use.
If any of you guys have access to TIMATIC, a printout of how it responds to a "pushing the limits" type input (e.g SFO-PVG flight in and bus from Shenzhen to Hong Kong out) would be quite useful to see.
