i have not tested anything yet this year. but soon i will test cuz i want to mount more evidence to get back credits from 2024. i dont want amex simply telling me i picked PAY HOTEL option. which the amex travel agent initially claimed i did.

i know i picked PAY NOW. and the bottom said PAY TODAY in the palazzo example screenshot from earlier, well, guess wat? i never got charged anything. i got to hotel and was told i did NOT prepay. and they were rite. my pre-auth dropped. no payment to hotel made. no depo. nothing.

which means no FHR credit.

i suggest heading over to amex travel and look at a real example from LAS VEGAS NV so u dont make same mistake.

below screenshot shows pala and crock. but crock has FLEX CANCEL. this will screw u if u dont have enough time end of year to fix it. pala is non-refund. and it worked for me.

but if the flex cancel rates have worked for u in past then keep using. but i used it and i was NEVER CHARGED until i got to hotel. then got told my rate is not prepaid. and they needed me to pay as if its any regular direct web booking but via FHR.
