Can you give me some more details on what specifically was wrong in your case? Is this not actually a simple case of not getting the invoice from the hotel? Is the issue on the hotel's side or Hyatt's side?
I figured since this was a new hotel that opened only 1 month prior to my stay, they didn't know the protocol with the invoices, but it seems like it could be something deeper?
I've sent an email to the hotel directly, but I don't have high hopes. I just called Hyatt support line and they tried to connect me to the hotel's front desk directly (I can speak conversational Chinese), but the call was dropped (the support agent said they themselves got hung up on as well, since it didn't seem like the front desk spoke English)
sending an email to the hotel directly didn’t work

it’s a bit complicated because UrCove is a Chinese corporation that’s new and quite independent, and Hyatt has always been having issues working with them. In my case, they told me they needed time to verify the information with the hotel, and it seemed like the hotel didn’t want to cooperate.
