Interesting. I've flown Aerolineas several times in the past couple of years and have always gotten a free carry-on. Nobody has ever cared about the weight. But when I looked closely at the receipt for an upcoming domestic flight, it also has that carry-on limit. But, I assume, things will work like before and I can get an online boarding pass and nobody will weigh my carry-on.
On the Aerolineas website, I'm a bit more concerned that they seem to have made a change by which their domestic "promotional" fares do not include ANY free carry-on. I have heard that the airline is trying to imrprove their financial situation -- Milei is theoretically going to privatize it -- and would be making "cutbacks." I'd hate to have a nasty surprise at the gate where I'm told I don't get a free carry-on. Honestly, the reason I've been flying Aerolineas over the discount airlines was their no-hassle carry on policy.
