Flew a couple of weeks ago on UA and the T-Mobile choice worked on the same tablet.
In my experience, it shows up on planes equipped with ViaSat WiFi, but not on those with Panasonic WiFi (most wide-bodies aircraft). It's been eons since I've been on a flight where GoGo was the WiFi provider.
