That would work perfectly for the AC lounge but it closes at 4pm today and her connection is 3-5pm. E4 is the next closest. In that case, I'm not sure which is faster.

Allowing 30-45 minutes for immigration and bags/customs, and 15 minutes to get to D,close to 10-15 minutes round trip from from D to E and the need to be at the gate 30+ minutes at the gate --- essentially no time left to be at lounge?

D has a couple for cafe / coffee shops pre-, post-security than would be a better option
