I don't know where you have read that, but as Eurobonus Gold you get +2 checked in bags on most SAS flights. Other SkyTeam Elite Plus members would get +1 bag.

The exception is SAS Go Light fares, with no checked in bags included. You don't go from 0 to 2 bags with EBG status (or from 0 to 1 with EBS); you need to have the first checked in bag included in your ticket in order to get additional bags.
