I my experience this depends on the lounge. BA First at T5, T3 Cathay First and LAX Qantas First, for example, have always let me in with AS Sapphire on the booking and showing BAEC Gold card on the app. AS lounges have been the only ones I’ve encountered so far with denying entries if your benefit program is not the one on the booking.
