I also wonder if your problems may be with using some sort of Ad or Cookie blocker with your browser. Both of those will give you numerous problems with order tracking. I haven't had any issues with order tracking in the last few months (and I use it A LOT), so I'm just trying to narrow down why you're having so many issues.
Thanks, this is a great point. Ive disabled the pop up blockers and even listed the websites for AA Shopping and my favorite vendors as "approved" on those custom lists that the browsers offer you in their settings windows.
Lets see if this improves my batting average..... greatly appreciate the information.

The most reliable method, in my experience, is to start by going to

Yes... I do this all the time.... as a matter of fact, most of the time I do this, select the items in my cart.... and then close the window, go back to aa shopping and use the link to go back to the vendor once again, and then will already have the cart with my selected items and then purhase. Historically, I would always get the pop-ups confirming that my miles were activated (when I first land onto the vendor site), and then after I paid for my cart, I would get the second pop up window with the notification that I had "earned" the miles....... but again, for 2-3 months now, those pop-ups just arent coming up any more........ all very strange

Just be sure if you have any other clicking around you need to do prior to actually purchasing, DO NOT DO THAT on the incognito browser.
Use a completely different browser if you still have some comparing or what not you need to do, and complete your purchase clean and simple on incognito.
Ever since I started doing that (I read about this extra step upthread somewhere on here), my purchases have fully tracked and I've earned my points.
Ah... ok, this is a new "recipe" that I will have to try. Never went this INCOGNITO window route. Interesting that you use Google Chrome... perhaps the AA Shopping portal works better with some browsers...? I wish they would suggest up-front which browsers they prefer - this would make the entire experience more user friendly.....
