Flight to IST is a layover with onward travel to us. Typically I've needed to checkin at airport whwn travelling to us due to document check for other airlines.
Since TK uses sq lounge could the lounge agents checkin / issue boarding pass? Not sure if it'd be too risky to wait to check in at the gate
OK, I see. Destination is USA. That might have other requirements than trips to Europe. Anyway - how long do you have time for your transit?
If you are not registered for the eChannel immigration @ HKG - Immigration can go quickly or take up to 90 minutes (depending on how many other planes have landed).
Emigration is quick - so you could theoretically also go landside and to the checkin-desk if you have plenty of time.
