below is an example of a junk booking that didnt work. u can see this was prepaid - pay NOW - DUE TODAY. except they never charged my card after the initial pre-auth. charges dropped off and i got a nice surprise onsite wen told nothing prepaid. ZERO deposit. ZERO amex FHR $200 credit.
Do you have a screenshot of your booking? This is for a future booking.
Actually it looks like Amex may have fixed this issue. Last time I checked for my earlier response, many Vegas hotels would show that there’s a deposit from the hotel. Which implies that the prepay charge is not from Amex and thus you wouldn’t get the $200 credit.
I just searched the Plazzo and FS. It appears that if you pick the Prepay option, it not longer shows the deposit from the hotel option.
