It is a pity that the lounge was not open as I stayed there in June 2024. It looks really nice.

I noticed that I have never report about my stay there, which was the first one after the renovation. I have to admit that I like the new modern and fresh design of the room. I am missing a real desk and especially a desk chair, but the small desklike extension of the sideboard did its job. The chair however was not .... But I guess the millenials do not need to work from their room ... Bed was comfortable and the sofa was nice to have to relax (and read through some papers and documents). Windows could be opened.

Bathroom was nice and water pressure was okay.

Pool and fitness were as usual, but the cleaing procedure at the pools were late. I went to the pool earlier (around 09:00 am and used towels lying around and glasses placed on tables were still there as I left at 13:00). This was better on the second day, were a guy from maintenance cleared them away.

Check-In was not the best. First everybody was waved over to the elite line and served ahead of me and another guest waiting in the elite line. The hotel then could not find the reservation on their side and the agent first claimed, that I did not have one. I showed them the e-mail and also the welcome mail with information about the shuttle. She then went to the back office with the number, my Bonvoy Numer and it took a whilte. No apoologies and no information what the problem was. It seems they generated a new reservation. I had to to a retrocredit later. Anyway, aside these problems, check-out was quick and the agent friendly. Late Check-Out till 14:00 was given without problems.

Did not take pictures of the lounge as it was during my stay in June still temporary relocated to a suite (with the benefit of a terrace offering view to the landing planes). Hope to return to try the new lounge.
