I wonder if the highlighted term & condition below is the nail in the coffin for people attempting to take advantage of cheap ex-outport to North America/Europe J class fares and no-show the final leg in the process.
Based on my interpretation, it seems CX will reprice the difference between a NRT-HKG-YVR-HKG-NRT and a NRT-HKG-YVR-HKG itinerary should the flyer forfeit the final leg on top of charging a JPY 40000 no-show penalty.
(Trying to ask this as diplomatically as possible) Has anyone tried this "no-show final leg" stunt recently? Was there indeed a recharge by CX?
