I love this idea. So hubby and I are GGL to April 26 but have changed all our travel plans for next TP year and will now earn 0 TP as all bookings are made using avios and various vouchers.
Current plan is to nominate each other for the Gold partner card around March 26 (out of the set we will get April 25) to continue as GCH to April 27.
Not sure of the long term plan with BA but will certainly no longer chase status. At best will only be Silver after 27.
