I’ve noticed Leverage rates have gone up significantly, so much so that they’re now equal to or higher than the Member Rate in most cases.
Example -
I have a stay booked for later this year for 5 nights. I booked this stay 2 months ago using Hyatt Leverage my rate was $161/night which was the lowest at the time of booking. I checked it again yesterday to see if maybe it went down, the current Leverage rate for that same stay is now $280, while the Member Advance Purchase Rate is $200.
I checked 6 other properties in all corners of the globe all had the same thing happen. I think Hyatt saw all those bonus nights go out for the first time for Hyatt Leverage (the 2 per $5,000 spent on Leverage Rates for the admin) and they’re pulling back hard.
