For any International arrivals into T2/T3, just follow the international connections signs to get to transit security, there is an airside passageway. It has been a couple of years since I have done this, so I will defer to others to comment about more recent experiences or check directly with the airlines involved for most up to date rules. If this becomes an issue, are you able to enter Brazil without a transit visa (ie, its just inconvenient)? If you are US citizen, it shouldn't be an issue before April when the new rules apply (Visa must be applied for in advance). Please note that at check in with Azul, since you are not on a through ticket, you will be at the mercy as to their interpretation of the transit rules / immigration requirements. From Azul's point of view your final destination is Brazil.
