Goodness they are not even near each other at all. That Hyatt is up northwest on Kaanapali , and the Grand Wailea is southwest in Wailea south of Kihea. Grand Wailea is on a much better swimming beach than walking out the door of the Hyatt, but if you go north of Black Rock there is good snorkeling. But there is decent snorkeling if you walk up the beach from the Grand Wailea. . . .and some of the best on the island if you drive down to ANWAR.

Are you sure you are not meaning to compare the Grand Wailea to the Hyatt Andaz, which is also south and with just a long walk in between?
