and if you start from there, opening the shopping referral link in a new INCOGNITO WINDOW (with a right click), it opens in a fresh chrome window with all your AA/shopping info transferred so your purchase will count.
Just be sure if you have any other clicking around you need to do prior to actually purchasing, DO NOT DO THAT on the incognito browser. Don't open any new tabs on this browser or it will unlink and you won't get credit..
Use a completely different browser if you still have some comparing or what not you need to do, and complete your purchase clean and simple on incognito.
Ever since I started doing that (I read about this extra step upthread somewhere on here), my purchases have fully tracked and I've earned my points.
