You would think its FIFO, but this is Hertz IT... I doubt they understand or know the concept or how to properly track what was earned and used when. So, its a total crap shoot.
My new balance does at least roughly match my earnings over the past 5 years, despite having a number of points bookings during that time. That would imply that the points bookings did indeed come from the 'oldest' points.
