I wonder if this means that certain current longhaul routes flown with the 788s will get up gauged to the 789?

I believe that currently, the 788s fly daily to SEA, IAD and LAX from HND. I think they also do Dalian? Planespotters lists that there are 9 of the 788s configured for international longhaul.

March: The north satellite terminal at Terminal 2 (ANA domestic) will be connected to the main Terminal 2. Currently, passengers departing from the north satellite terminal need to take a bus from the main Terminal 2 after going through the security. There will be new additional three boarding bridge gates at Terminal 2 at this new connector section.

Expansion of Terminal 1 (JAL domestic) is also underway, this is scheduled to be completed in 2026. The expanded area will be north of the current terminal and will add 6 new gates with the boarding bridge.

Looking a GoogleMaps, that satellite area seems to have more room to grow/ expand. I wonder if future expansion at both Terminals 1 and 2 will respectively affect JAL's and ANA's Terminal 3 operations? Especially with NH, their international ops is split between Terminals 2 and 3.
