It's been a little while, but I'm still heartbroken about Amex sunsetting LoungeBuddy. I used it all the time to quickly find lounges I could access all over the world. I loved everything about the app, and outside of the airline app, it was my #1 most important travel application.

I've tried using the web-based version that was available, but the data seemed stale, and nobody was maintaining it.

I also gave LoungeReview a shot. They’re trying hard, but the UI and features still have a way to go compared to LoungeBuddy. Since LoungeBuddy is going away, they should really incorporate the elements that made it so popular. LoungeReview is doing some nice things, like automatically listing the nearest airports when you open the app. They seem to be on the right track; hopefully, they can adopt some of the great features and UI that LoungeBuddy had.

Who is behind LoungeReview? Is it a one-person side hustle, or is there more to it?

Anyone have any other good sources for quickly finding lounges? The Priority Pass isn't a great option because it's only showing their lounges.
