I would say yes. I was Senator and BA Gold for a number of years. My travel was decreasing and just like what has happened here LH decided they didn't want their SENs around 2014 and plus cut F from YYZ. BAEC still was very good and they did still have F to Toronto until about 2019. Now SEN is so much easier to get than Gold. Haven't decided where I am going. I might give ST a try. Lot more ST options from Toronto. OW didn't really make sense from Canada but I stuck with BA out of habit because the FFP covered up for an airline that got worse every year. I don't TP run, Gold came organically but nowhere near GGL flying, I have been averaging £15K spend but no way
am I spending £22K+ for BA Gold. and still be stuck with LHR.
