Bear in mind that for those who utilize the “make a reservation that requires a deposit and then cancel it after the resort credit posts” gambit, some Hilton deposits may not post to credit card activity until 1 full (business) day after making the reservation. (Unlike for example a UA TB charge which posts instantaneously.)
